a word from our founder

The money that we raised in 2017 was from hosting one simple evening at my home with a handful of friends and Pastor Grace. As 2018 rolled around, I knew in my heart that if we could raise $30,000 with one nights worth of effort that if I really invested my time and energy into this that we could make a significant impact! So, that is exactly what I did.

I made plans to go to Uganda with two photographers so that I could meet the kids, see the school, be 100% accountable for where our money was going and also to get photos and videos for marketing. After returning home from Uganda and getting the word out even more about the work we were doing and the impact we were having on hundreds of beautiful children, our income increased 265%!

Now, I have met the kids, I have held them and looked into their eyes. They have my whole heart and there is no going back. In 2019 we aim to raise $330,000 to save more lives and transform Uganda. Thank you for being part of our story. We could not do it without you.

2019 GOALS

In 2019, we hope to raise $330,000 to continue to work towards our goal of transforming Uganda! This year we want to provide:
  • Over 350,000 meals for children and staff
  • Quality education for 540 students
  • Good jobs and consistent pay for 45 staff
  • Beds and bedding for 120 new children from refugee camps
  • 2 new primary school dorms to rescue even more children
  • A new kitchen and dining hall for the children
  • A security wall around both Primary and Secondary Schools
  • Resources for the Garden and Farm project for increased sustainability
*We also aim to have an Admin budget this year in order to do business with efficiency and excellence and maintain quality donor communication.
